In what is likely to be its worst-ever loss, Australia's opposition party has been left reeling following a crushing defeat in Saturday's federal election. Following Labor's overwhelming victory, the Liberal Party is scurrying to find a new leader and determine what went wrong for them this election cycle.

The Liberal Party's most catastrophic losses occurred in Australia's main cities, where party members were almost eliminated in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide."You have to acknowledge things went wrong," he told .
